Our seamless concrete Coulis flooring is made from a modern, mineral, material and designed for life whether at work, at rest or at play.
Get the best of both worlds, with the natural feel of concrete, but the contemporary look of a poured resin. Solacir® Coulis gives a colourful, seamless, poured mineral finish.
Solacir® Coulis can be applied over a traditional cement screed or an anhydrite (calcium sulphate) liquid screed after the underfloor heating has been commissioned and post-hydration process. Also by using MC Elastic (link) our fibreglass reinforced base layer the risk of future cracking can be eliminated.
Existing screeds and concrete in many workplaces are not suitable for polishing, due to surface contamination or past repairs and patching.
A Solacir® Coulis can be applied over the top of these surfaces adding as little as 6mm to the overall build up. A clever blend of minerals means unlike cement based alternatives it has low shrinkage and excellent flowability to give a mineral alternative to poured resin floors.
Shop fitting or the refurbishment of bars, cafés or restaurants are often time sensitive projects and the instinct for most designers and Architects is to ‘rip out’ the existing flooring and pour a new screed and new floor finish. This can be both a time consuming and costly activity.
We have engineered flooring systems that are low build up, lightweight and designed to be applied on top of existing flooring finishes, such as tiled floors.
A Solacir® Coulis can be applied to existing screeds and tiled floors, along with our MC Elastic our fibreglass reinforced base layer, so long as they are in a reasonable condition, to give a colourful, seamless, poured mineral finish with the natural feel of concrete, but the contemporary look of a poured resin.
